West Virginia Cannabis Laws

September 5, 2017

West Virginia Marijuana LawWhat comes to mind when you think of West Virginia? To me, West Virginia is a region where hard, blue-collar work is ingrained in the culture. To some, it may appear to be “stuck in time,” meaning that the state has yet to become fully modernized as it clings to a nostalgia of the past. As of now, the state’s economy mostly relies on energy extraction, with coal and natural gas being the focal point of its economy. However, the state’s looking for other economic options because these resources will eventually run out.

Cannabis Testing Labs in the U.S.

September 4, 2017

Cannabis Testing LabsCannabis is the fasting growing industry in the U.S. market right now, with sales last year totaling around $7 billion. By 2026, that number is expected to reach $50 billion, as reported by the Portland Press Herald. Experts are advising people who are thinking of investing in cannabis to invest through pharmaceutical companies and cannabis testing labs because cannabis is still declared a Schedule 1 drug under federal law. Since cannabis has been illegal, there wasn't a large market for cannabis testing labs. However, with forms of marijuana becoming legal in 29 states and Washington D.C., the demand for cannabis testing labs is sure to grow.

Looking for a 24 hr Dispensary?

August 23, 2017

24 hr dispensaryIn the broader society, marijuana is not always viewed as a medicine. Over twenty years have passed since California first passed medical marijuana laws, yet at the federal level, marijuana remains illegal and has no approved medical use within organized society. It is easy to see why a 24 hr pharmacy would exist, as illness does not care about the time, yet the practicality of a 24 hr dispensary can be obscured by the ongoing disparity between state and federal marijuana laws.

Medical Marijuana and the NBA

August 18, 2017

nba medical marijuanaIt can be said that the NBA is a “stoner league,” as, some say, around 80% of players smoke medical marijuana or recreational pot. This trend, however, can be seen across all four major American sports. Let’s face it: sports are brutal. Injuries are an inherent reality of playing professional sports. In the past, as was the case with the average American, pain symptoms would be resolved the status quo’s way: with prescription painkillers. Sadly, the reality of doctors pushing painkillers has contributed to the current opioid crisis as prices surged and medical restrictions tightened. Consequently, average people started to search for a similar high, which led to street heroin becoming the main counter option. Leafbuyer obviously prefers alternative pain remedies that don’t worsen addiction.

How to Choose the Best Marijuana Vaporizer

August 12, 2017

Vaping marijuanaMarijuana vaporizer technology, praised for being more discreet and less harmful, has been growing in popularity as more consumers shy away from traditional smoking. When combined with the momentum behind marijuana concentrates (aka dabbing) in North American states and cities where the plant is legalized, it would seem vaporization has met a consumer demand at a time when technology is learning as fast as we are, if not faster. The result: a flood of innovative products seeking to deliver an unrivaled cannabis vaporization experience, customizable in every way but the core design.

What’s All the Fuss About Jeff Sessions and Marijuana?

August 10, 2017

Jeff Sessions Whats the fuss 2Jeff Sessions is a powerful man. As you probably know, he is the Attorney General of the United States, and he previously served as a Republican Senator in Alabama. During his time in the Senate, Sessions became known as one of the more conservative politicians on either side of the aisle. Like many die-hard elephants, Jeff Sessions has strong convictions toward several hot topics: he's incredibly anti-abortion, is skeptical of climate change, and most topically, wants to criminalize marijuana across the states.

Everything You Need to Know About Marijuana Anonymous

August 3, 2017

Marijuana anonymousMarijuana is known as a safer intoxicant, likely because no death from overdose is known to have occurred – ever. Again, cannabis is applauded for its distinction from other commonly used intoxicants, namely in producing none of the gut-wrenching withdrawal symptoms of, say, alcohol or opiates. This does not mean, however, using marijuana cannot develop into a pattern of behavior inconsistent with the momentum of society, often creating a series of ill effects in your life. Some would call this addiction, but only you can choose to recognize it.
