SLO CAL Roots began in 2003 with the dream of creating the first integrated cannabis company in beautiful San Luis Obispo county. Founded by local cannabis growers Austen Connella and Kristen Kordich, SLO CAL Roots first began as SLO CAL Farms -a division of SLO CAL Roots that remains very much alive today.
Today we operate by four guiding principles; Plant, People, Passion, and Place. Cannabis is at the center of everything we do-the lifeblood of the SLO CAL Roots brand. People are central to our vibrant community, and its our People that make our brand unique. Our Passion for plant medicine is what drives us forward, get us up in the morning, and keeps us going late into the night. And the Central Coast is the Place we choose to call home -for all its rugged beauty and optimal growing climate.
