Study: Marijuana Users Have More Sex Than Non-Users

In the past, researchers and scientists have contemplated how marijuana effects the frequency of sex in adults. A recent study from the Journal of Sexual Medicine shows that regular marijuana users have more sex than those who don’t use cannabis.

This is good news to those who use marijuana medically or on a regular basis. The study was conducted on a sample size of 51, 119 people and the average age of the sample was around 30 years old.

According to the study, “A positive association between marijuana use and sexual frequency is seen in men and women across all demographic groups.” While this study is great, it still does not answer how the use of marijuana affects the sexual functions of individuals.

Aside from the study, many recreational and medical marijuana dispensaries are carrying products that compliment a person’s sexual activity. Companies like Foria are at the forefront of this new push to improve sexual experiences by providing THC products that help stimulate the sexual experience.
