Overall, those who took the three doses of CBD reported receiving more sleep and had less dream recall than usual. CBD for sleep is clearly a reasonable form of treatment; especially when CBD has slim to no adverse effects with chronic use. While more research needs to occur, the information available today promotes the use of CBD for sleep. Cannabidiol is a natural sleep aid in high doses and is ideal for ingesting before bed. However, chronic intake of CBD is necessary to experience its full medical potential. - Before Bed: Anyone looking to use CBD for sleep should start with a higher dosage around 15mg to 20mg and work their way up as necessary. By starting low, it allows for consumers to find the ideal dosage for them without wasting unnecessary product. However, some consumers may need much higher doses. It is not uncommon to take doses as high as 100mg to 200mg of CBD for severe cases of insomnia or chronic pain.
The best times to intake CBD are in the morning and before bed. For a quick overview, keep the CBD doses low in the morning and higher at night.
